15 Years Providing the Ultimate Trips to the World’s Most Remote Reefs

Nomad Sportfishing has a long history of providing pioneering and unique mothership trips to fish some of the world’s most remote reefs. Our 80ft mothership and years of experience allow us to access places that nobody else can get to. We have the boats, crew and know how to take you into the wild and allow you to experience fishing and locations that are rarely if ever visited by anyone other than us. Many of our locations are only visited 1-2 times per year by Nomad, and apart from that they remain untouched and inaccessible.

There are more fish living on the Great Barrier Reef than in any other marine ecosystem on earth. This means you are going to catch more fish and bigger fish on the Great Barrier Reef, there’s simply nowhere else that can stack up to this simple geographical fact.
Nomad Sportfishing can take you to fish the most remote, pristine and untouched parts of this reef, and take you to many places that no other charter operations visit.

Each remote area we visit only gets fished for a couple of weeks each year, ensuring that there are plenty of hungry fish waiting for your trip.
The Great Barrier Reef is the “Amazon Rainforest” of the oceans, making up approximately 54% of the earth’s entire tropical coral reef systems – it is without any doubt the world’s healthiest and most diverse marine ecosystem.

We fish the most remote areas of the world’s largest, healthiest and most pristine marine ecosystem – The Great Barrier Reef & Coral Sea Reefs.

Throughout each year, we fish the entire 1500 mile length of this reef system, moving between the most remote areas of the reef, to ensure you the absolute best fishing every week. Nomad Sportfishing operates pioneering and unique sportfishing, gamefishing and flyfishing mothership fishing charters along the Queensland coast, using our range of 18-36ft sportfishing boats. Our aim is to provide you with the best bluewater fishing adventure holidays available, through the use of the latest technology in boats, tackle, techniques and equipment, combined with stunning locations, outstanding service and great value for money.

The locations we visit and services we offer are unique within Australia. Due to our boats and equipment, we are the only company able to offer access to most of the areas we visit.
